AXEL BEARD
Axel practises predominantly in criminal, child protection and domestic and family violence litigation.
Prior to his call to the Bar in February 2025, Axel worked as a criminal lawyer since his admission in 2016. In that time, he worked at a number of firms specialising in criminal defence. Later, he worked at Legal Aid Queensland for a number of years. During that time, he worked in a variety of teams, including acting as in-house Counsel and in the Appeals Team.
