GRACE TOWNSEND
Grace was admitted as a practitioner in 2017 and called to the bar in 2025. Upon her admission, she began working as a solicitor in a prominent Brisbane criminal defence firm.
In 2022, she joined the Director of Public Prosecutions (Commonwealth) where she prosecuted commercial and serious financial crime, child exploitation and the illegal importation of border controlled drugs. She has experience in domestic and foreign child exploitation offending, cross border drug related offences and money laundering.
Grace holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland.
Grace accepts briefs in crime, child protection, regulatory, public/administrative law, disciplinary proceedings and public inquests and inquiries.
